What are Infrared Inspections?
Infrared (thermal imaging) is an advanced, non-invasive technology that allows the inspector to investigate structural deficiencies that won’t be revealed using conventional inspection methods. Infrared inspections can identify and document moisture intrusion, energy loss due to missing or improperly installed wall and attic insulation. Electrical hot spots can be identified using this technology. Infrared inspections can also be used to locate damaged or disconnected ductwork in the attic and walls. Infrared scanning will help identify plumbing leaks.
